Adcole gages are automatic measurement systems which combine submicron level precision with flexibility and speed. The Model 91 is an automatic dual processor gage which combines production speed with high precision. Used for machine tool set-up, in-process, post-process and final inspection, this gage is a major step forward in direct process control.
Performance: Stability - This framework ensures complete stability of the gage, thereby allowing precise and consistent measurement of the parts.
Precision - 1/10th Micron Resolution: Once the part is loaded between the centers it is rotated by the headstock spindle, which has an optical angle encoder accurate to 0.001 degree. The part is measured by a radiused carbide ball or rod follower and the follower's position is sensed to a resolution of 0.0001 mm.
Speed - Up to 15 Parts per Hour: Features like programmable headstock speed and follower positioning together with the use of two processors enable to Model 911 to achieve cycle times as high s 15 parts per hour.
